The Magician

Now we begin our contemplation of the Magician that lives inside of you. The Magician that must be conjured as you become a conscious man.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “magician?”

Why do you think this is one of the four masculine archetypes that we are invited to study? (King, Warrior and Lover are the other three.)

Our masculine magic is connected to our ancestral lineage. It is how we access the worlds that our eyes can’t see. It is how we conjure the impossible into being. It is the magic that makes initiation possible, and it is the first seed of all of our technology.

The Magician holds “all knowledge that takes special training to acquire.” He is the keeper of the dance between Master and apprentice. He holds access to the craft, and the power of its transmission.
